In mid eighties of a last century the first boats sailed under name Galeb 6,75 and owing to great maritime characteristics and unusually good stability on sea, they became one of the most popular products of Croatian shipbuilding industry of smaller boats.

Based on many years of practical and theoretical experiences, and independent carrying out of all works in building fiberglass boats, modeling, mold making and assembling equipment, inspired by shape and a base of above-mentioned popular boat, we made the prototype of the boat Gull 745.

Near the stem-bulb of the boat and the tin stern, in its body are inserted lateral streamline and spoiler, thus such a maritime form was achieved that enables sailing with displacement, as well as half-displacement performance. Proportion of hull/length of water line and a width of hull/width of water line unquestionably guarantee great stability and excellent maritime abilities.

The boat has the same look as its forerunner, but has about 50% more useful space and has larger water line, which improves its described abilities.

Option of various strength of ship’s propulsion may accomplish cruising speed of 10-20 knots. As we are satisfied with the realized result of the boat prototype, we made the hull and boat deck model with the bulkhead aril and on that basis we modeled construction with the cabin and upper cabin called «Gull 745 – Turist» and begun commercial production of boat according to a basic kit. Depending on market needs, the boat will be improved with different solutions of interior and power efficiency of space for different aims: sport, fishing, family or nautical tourism or combination of those.

Company for the production of plastic items «Galeb i ja» is an officially approved boat producer and a producer of other products of fiberglass which are built in ships and machinery, and is under supervision of Croatian Register of Shipping. The boat Gull 745 has approval of CRS.
